I have a Twitch channel and I stream occassionally at https://twitch.tv/beepner

Last night played Wonder Boy III until I ran out of continues, even after being a scrub and maxxing credits and lives in the options. It was mostly to test using Streamlabs OBS instead of just vanilla OBS, and I may play around more with layouts and widgets if I'm not lazy.

If I think about it I dump my streams on a Youtube channel that I LP'ed on in a former life.

Sooooooo my Youtube channel is no more. But I'm trying to get back to streaming again. Most recently I've been flailing ineptly at Hollow Knight, which you can watch as long as the VoDs are still up. https://www.twitch.tv/beepner/videos

You can preserve VODs by just making them highlights. That's what I do with mine.

I haven't been able to catch the Hollow Knight streams but am gonna be watching the VODs this morning x)

Yeah, I believe it just came out Wednesday. I only happened on it when I was browsing Steam's free-to-play page.

Played it myself after watching your stream and I dunno. There's a real lack of feedback in the note paths and stuff that just makes the combat feel bad to me. Was fun watching it but I in no way had fun playing it.

Yeah, I was in the middle of a bit of a conference call for some work stuff when this was going on but I'm glad it's highlighted. I always kinda liked the crunchiness these games had (thanks to being DOS games and DOS not being QUITE there yet). That and I stole the KATB overworld tune from this game xD

Overall I feel like Jill aged a little better than most DOS platformers. Jazz Jackrabbit is more technically impressive, but some levels have design issues that just make it BUUUUUUUUUUUTT to play.
