Back When Crossovers Meant Something
June 17th, 2012

...AND THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON...or something. This is my witty intro line!

Anyway, FreezingInferno's got the cure for your Summer sunday blues with a review of what can clearly only be the raddest damn game ever, Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team on NES! Get your Marvels and Capcoms and SNKs outta my face. THIS is the crossover folks waited decades to happen and I'm sure that we live on a much better planet after it did. Right? Yeah, I'm not even believing my own horse shit now!

And that's a wrap for your Sunday update!

Crono Maniac Goes All Indie On Your Asses
June 10th, 2012

Well, hey there! How ya doin'? Me? I'm just sittin' here doing that "be lazy" thing I was talking about, but just because I'm sitting here being a lazy poop on a barfstick doesn't mean that some of your favorite Guest Contributators with a "free pass" are resting on their laurels. OR their lentils!

Man, you just don't know how badly I wish I was Crono Maniac. Lemme tell ya, this guy is a media-consumption machine. He's NEVER bored. EVER. He's always finding cool shit to get into and he has LISTS of things he STILL needs to get around to reading, playing, watching, and listening to. Recently, he got around to playing the very well put together and Out Of This World-inspired indie platformer, Iji. Ya know, a game released before being "indie" meant being Tim Schafer or donating thousands of dollars in an internet pissing contest. You should go read his thoughts post-haste, and while you're at it, be sure to give the game a shot. Or, ya know, be stealthy! Choice is yours!

And, back to lazytime!
