Top 25 Games Of All Time v2.0 REDUX
August 16th, 2007

Almost two years ago, we ran an article wherein myself, Pat, and a few others made one of those all too common Top 25 lists where we listed and talked about our top 25 favorite games of all time. When I moved the site over to version 2.FUCKAWESOME, I ditched the old version of the article because Pat had mentioned wanting to revisit it. I was thankful because that meant 25 less pages of html for me to edit! Hooray for being lazy!

Well now we're bringin it back! And to make the article all it can be, we'd like you (my two other readers) to have your turn on the ol' soapbox and let us know what your top 25 favorite games are and why you think they're totally fucking awesome.

Contributing is easy! Just have a look at some of the guidelines below, and nobody'll have to get hurt.

Firstly, if you participated in the previous version of the article and don't want to change anything about it, please send me an email (or a PM at the 8easybits forum) telling me that. I'll just bring it over into the new format and you're good to go.

For newcomers, or those who want to do a new list entirely, here's what I need from you:

1.) You need to make a list of your 25 games and write a bit about 'em. Any game, any console, any era. It doesn't have to be an entire book, but try to talk about why you liked the game, what was awesome about it, what cool memories go along with it.

2.) Your list needs to be in either .txt or .doc format. DO NOT include the images within a .doc file should you use one.

3. I'd like one image screenshot per game. I'm not too picky about the dimensions. PLEASE follow the following format for screenshot filenames:

So for example, say I'm doing a screenshot for my number 12 game, it'd be polly12.jpg. This just makes it a ton easier on my end to insert images into each of your articles.

Those are the only rules I need you to follow. Once you're finished, rar or zip your article and images up and send it off to:

Easy, peasy, Japaneasy!

The deadline for this assignment is September 28th, so you have a TON of time to get everything done and to me. I hope to have everything ready to go up on October 1st.

Alright, let's get crackin'!

The Clean Up!
August 3rd, 2007

I've been getting a lot of complaints about the .swf files on the front page making things load way too slow, so I've moved NES Week Part C's mainpage entries to their own page for now, so you can go there and read the info. It'll still probably load slow because of the .swf files being there. I'll be compiling the stuff into its own stand-alone article sometime this weekend.

So there ya go! Fast loaderizing again!
