It's About To Get A Little Lascerated Up In Here
June 30th, 2006
Fellow 8EasyBits forum poster and part time lollypop vendor,
didded a doodle...dooded a
diddle...dedded a doddle...dadded a duddle...HE KINDLY DREW A PICTURE OF
YOUR'S TRULY! I liked it so much, I decided I'd give it some valuable face
time right here on the front page for everyone to stare at! All 9 of you.
Aside from the fact that I'm only 5'1" or so, I think it's pretty good.
Thanks for taking the time and for allowing me to post it up here.
Not much else has been going on around the site lately, due to preparations
for the upcoming NES Week. Once the event has ended, you can probably
expect the Hitman: Blood Money review sometime soon after.
Oh shit! What's that? Are you hearing things? Or is this page reading
itself to you? Yes, yes it is. Isn't it annoying? I love how it
occasionally garbles up words and isn't always understandable. I put it
up, because I was hoping it might annoy someone.
Okay, to be honest, I did this for byron. I know he's not the brightest
bulb and figured it'd make things a lot easier for him.
Till Monday! Ta!
NES Week Information
June 22nd, 2006
Because I'm having a really bad streak of insomnia as of late and I haven't had
the drive or energy to really work on anything for it myself yet, I've decided to
push the event back a week to the week of July 3rd.
So, for those of you submitting things for NES Week Part Deux, THE NEW
DEADLINE FOR CONTRIBUTIONS IS JULY 2ND AND NO LATER!
Who Wants To Contribute
June 20th, 2006
There's even more Hitman goodness going on with a hot off the presses review
of Hitman: Contracts
once again for
PC. It should be noted that these games play similarly to their console
counterparts, but only look and feel much better on a PC.
So, how'd you like to contribute to NES Week Part Deux? (I'm talking to all 2
of you that actually read this shit.) Got a favorite game you'd like to
review? Just wanna say something about that era of gaming? Funny screenshots?
Anything. I'm all ears and accepting whatever you might have to say about
the bulky grey box or any of its hardware/software/whatever. If you do a
review, it'll be put up in the reviews
the site. If you have other miscellaneous junk to talk about, or
screenshots or whatever, they'll be posted on the front page and later moved
to a larger article once the event has ended.
So listen closely, read carefully (byron): If there's something you want to
submit for the event please send an email to the following address:
You can type it out into GMail, make a .txt file and attatch, or whatever. If
you do a review, I ask that you PLEASE PROVIDE A FEW SCREENSHOTS THAT ARE
256 PIXELS IN WIDTH
to help take a bit of the work off me so that all I
have to do is format it into the .html.
Odds are, if what you send is cool it'll get posted. I don't think I'll be
rejecting much, so just feel free to send whatever.
I'd really appreciate all submissions (if any) be completed by WEDNESDAY,
And that's about it for now.
More Than 47
June 19th, 2006
You can have your caretaker forklift your 822lb ass on over to the reviews
section to find that, as promised, I've posted a review for
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
. So, get going,
piggy, piggy, piggy, piggy!
And if that isn't enough to satisfy your overwhelming desire for more (because
everybody LOVES MY SITE I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT!!!) I got more...
I couldn't think of any better way to celebrate the relaunch of smps and to
get the ball rolling further downhill into mediocrity, than to return with
the second annual installment of...*drum roll*
Five days, five games, five reviews! All harkening back to that wonderful
era of gaming we all know and love and wish we could return to! Yes, even
you. Don't fucking argue. You know who you are...
NES Week begins next Monday and runs through Friday. This front page will be
your one stop shop (Yes, I'm upgrading the site to a paid service in time for
the event) for announcements of posted reviews and hopefully (if I can
think of anything interesting or I'm not lazy on that particular day) lots
of weird Trivia from that era of gaming.
So, be sure to check that out...or not. Hell I might just get lazy and not
fucking do it at all. How's that for suspense?
Fuck The What Now?
June 17th, 2006
I love the Hitman games. It's a series that I never really forgot about, but
I just always seemed to move on to different things once I'd finished the
first two games when they were released. The recent release of Hitman:
Blood Money has gotten me re-excited about the series and I've decided to
bitch and moan about all four of the games over the course of the next
week...two weeks...however the fuck long it takes me to write this shit.
So, submitted for your approval, Hitman: Codename
In re-uploading the site, I may have forgotten something or something may not work
right now, but when I decide to care I'll get around to it. But for now, just enjoy
the fact that Agent 47 thinks girls are icky
