An Added Dimension

Happy Saturday! We're cruisin' into the Fall season here in Pollyland, which is my favorite time of the year! What does that have to do with today's update? I don't even know! So let's just get to that part then, shall we?
Earlier this week my girlfriend picked herself up one of those shiny new 3DS XL handhelds. I never really had a whole hell of a lot of interest in the damn thing myself, but after spending some time with it, I must say that I'm finding it to be a fun little piece of hardware. THE SCREENS ARE 90% BIGGER, DON'TCHA KNOW? Anyway, since owning a new console almost invariably means you'll also be owning a new Mario
game to boot I've decided to share my thoughts on last year's Super Mario 3D Land
for you all!
That's TWO UPDATES this month! Will I go for the hat trick and make it three?
Sometimes We Watch You Play Videogames

Hey, check it out! I managed two INCREDIBLE things today.
1. I pried myself away from PSO2.
2. I actually wrote an update for the site myself!
Shit, it's been what...eight months since I did that last? Man, that's crazy!
What I have for you today is a random opinion piece article that I figure most of you will find pretty boring or irrelevent to your interests. In that case, you can pretend this update didn't happen. Like you always do...
The subject is Let's Playing, which is a phenomenon that's overtaken video sites like YouTube in the last few years that involves someone playing a videogame and talking over the footage. It's something I've become interested in because I've ended up making a lot of friends that do it and I find them genuinely entertaining when I'm in the right mood. Since I'm one to share my opinions on most anything, I figured I'd compile a list of eleven commandments that I believe new and old Let's Players should follow
to try and keep their videos interesting, or at the very least, tolerable.
So hey, hopefully somebody will get something out of today's update! See ya next time! Whenever the hell that'll be!
