The top 115 SNES games ever according to SNS - Part 2
by Sliders n' Socks

#90 - Battletoads & Double Dragon
- The Ultimate Team
Chosen by: Irish

Irish - The last stop for both franchises before the gravy trains went off the rails. Battletoads just died and Double Dragon jumped the shark with an animated series that was beyond crappy. Fun game though.

#89 - King Arthur's World
Chosen by: Genuine Fiber

Genuine Fiber - An early precursor to RTS games. For me at least. This game is unheard of because it really sucks if you don't have the SNES mouse. If you've never played it, emulate it right now. GO!

#88 - Tecmo Super Bowl III: Final Edition
Chosen by: Polly

Polly - Tecmo gave the classic arcadey football game a bit of a makeover with this installment, opting for more realistic graphics and detailed playbooks, but it maintains the same level of playability and enjoyability as the original. Creating an entire team of your own dudes and improving them over the course of many seasons was the bomb-diggity.

#87 - Mega Man X3
Chosen by: Vanor Orion

Vanor Orion - This game was full of awesomeness and surprises. Sadly, none of the following X games were nearly as good as the original three. But like 7, this one was an awesome send-off for the SNES.

#86 - Mega Man and Bass
Chosen by: MooMan1

MooMan1 - the first real Megaman game I played because MMBN doesn't really count.

#85 - Hagane
Chosen by: Wolf

Wolf - Great action/platformer/shinobi clone.

#84 - U.N. Squadron
Chosen by: Vanor Orion

Vanor Orion - Really great music, for a really damn controller-chewingly difficult 2D shooter. Despite that, it's about the only shoot'em up I've ever liked.

#83 - Metal Combat Falcon's Revenge
Chosen by: Rhete

Rhete - The definitive reason to own a super scope. Giant robots blasting the shit out of each other, IN SPACE!

#82 - Super Bases Loaded
Chosen by: wolf99x

wolf99x - No MLBPA license but that doesn't change the fact it's an entertaining baseball game.

#81 - Outlander
Chosen by: decoy octopus

decoy octopus - Part Mad Max part crappy driving game makes this high on my list for the bad ending when your player is dead upside down with the saddest music ever.

#80 - The Magical Quest
Starring Mickey Mouse
Chosen by: Vanor Orion

Vanor Orion - I only rented this and played it once. But god damn it was fun. Especially fun was being able to change costumes like into a firefighter.

#79 - Fire Emblem: Thracia 776
Chosen by: Wolf

Wolf - Fire Emblem's last hurrah, with piles of new features and refinements that enhanced the gameplay, a solid soundtrack, and plenty of challenge. if you like strategy RPGs and you haven't played this, you're missing out.

#78 - Mario's Super Picross
Chosen by: Meister

Meister - I'm a sucker for logic games. I played the hell out of Mario's Picross on the Game Boy, but this SNES version is a lot better - far more puzzles and a neat, Mario/Wario-themed unlocking structure.

#77 - Star Ocean
Chosen by: MooMan1

MooMan1 - It's fun for all the wrong reasons, and better than Phantasia by spades.

#76 - Front Mission
Chosen by: wolf99x

wolf99x - Ok granted the DS remake is much better (especially since your main character isn't a prick), but this is what started Square's far-too-easily neglected mecha series.

#75 - Shadowrun
Chosen by: decoy octopus

decoy octopus - had more of a cohesive story than the Genesis version (even though I like the genny version better) it's still a wonderful jaunt through the cyberpunk world and one of the best RPGs on the system.

#74 - Gokujou Parodius
Chosen by: Meister

Meister - More and weirder characters that the first. Now I can commandeer a stick figure surfing on a paper plane using a condom for a shield!

#73 - X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse
Chosen by: Irish

Irish - The best damn X-men game ever.

#72 - Super Robot Wars 3
Chosen by: wolf99x

wolf99x - This is what happens when people with a lot of free time (Banpresto in this case) decide to try and answer "what if we had a bunch of mecha from various series beat the crap out of each other?"

#71 - Super Turrican
Chosen by: Vanor Orion

Vanor Orion - Three words: Chris. Fucking. Huelsbeck. This "remix" of Mega Turrican will live on forever thanks to the beyond amazing sound output of the SNES. You haven't lived till you've heard Bionic Action on the SNES.

#70 - Vortex
Chosen by: Irish

Irish - Super FX chip fueld transformer action... not as fun as it should be, but still pretty damn cool.

#69 - Strike Gunner: S.T.G.
Chosen by: Vanor Orion

Vanor Orion - This is about the only shoot'em up I ever finished. And with all the cool weapons you could choose from, like an atomic missile it wasn't very hard to get to the end. But it was fun as hell.

#68 - Kirby's Dream Course
Chosen by: Meister

Meister - The developers did an excellent job applying the principle of Kirby games to a minigolf game.

#67 - Choujikuu Yousai Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie
Chosen by: Rhete

Rhete - Great music, graphics, bosses, hijacking enemies to make them fight their friends to the death... yep this game has everything. And no one has ever heard of it.

#66 -Cacoma Knight In Bizyland
Chosen by: Vanor Orion

Vanor Orion - Before we were rolling up Katamaris for the King to smoke, this game made us draw lines to cleanse the land or some shit. As far as games go, this one was pretty unique, and I don't think I've seen another like it since I played it.
